We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains how LexiBuds handles parent account information and the limited child profile information that a parent chooses to enter for learning setup.

1. Information We Collect

Parent account information: name, email address, password authentication through Firebase, selected plan, onboarding state, and for paid plans a mobile number for payment/account-related communication.

Child-related information: child name/class only as entered by the parent for learning setup. We do not require personal payment information from children.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and secure the parent account
• To continue onboarding and child profile setup
• To support account notifications, payment-related communication, and future parent updates
• To improve the application and support users

3. Children’s Privacy

LexiBuds is designed for parent-managed use and aims to minimize child personal data. We do not require direct child personal information beyond what a parent intentionally enters for learning setup. Our design goal is to remain aligned with family-safe privacy expectations including COPPA-focused principles.

4. Data Security

• Passwords are not stored in plain text
• HTTPS/TLS is used for secure data transfer
• We keep access control limited and use secure platform services for storage/authentication
• We use email verification to confirm parent email ownership before onboarding continues

5. Cookies and Session Use

We do not use cookies for advertising or profiling. Session and security-related browser storage/cookies may be used only for essential application behavior such as login continuity and account security.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and operational requirements. Parents remain responsible for the child profile data they enter into the platform.
